Heritage Tour

Round Trip Coach Bus Transportation leaving Albany on February 20th, 2012 and returning February 23rd, 2012.  Times will be determined.  3 day/2 night hotel stay (4 people to a room).  Continental Hot Breakfast each morning and buffet style dinners included each night.  We will eat lunch at the Historic St James Hotel in Selma and have a bag lunch provided for us at the Science Center.  Paid Admission to all Attractions,  includes stops in Selma, Montgomery, and Birmingham Alabama; then on to Memphis Tennessee.  Some of the historic places we will visit will be The National Voters Rights Building, The Birmingham Civil Rights Museum, The 16th Street Baptist Church, The Rosa Parks Museum, The Home of Dr. Martin Luther King, The Historic Slave Haven Museum, The Home of W. C. Handy (Father of the Blues), The National Civil Rights Museum formerly the Lorraine Motel), The Edmund Pettus Bridge (we will take a walk across), and more.  Two very knowledgeable historians, who actually took part in The Civil Rights Movement, will be our tour guides. 


Washington, DC Trip

April 14th - 18th, 2011 our trip will include a tour of the White House, Air and Space Museum, Dr. Martin Luther King Historical Center, The Capitol, The Library of Congress and more.
