... Holds many thoughts and credences about his artwork. He credits words of inspiration and sayings by the likes of Picasso, Merton, and Aristotle for encouragement, but his actual life experiences have inspired many of the pictures that we share in this gallery.
As a lover of art, Sam experimented with various mediums like oil, acrylic, water colours, poster colours, calligraphy and different widths of lead pencils. Through experimentation and practice, he developed and enhanced his education, knowledge and skills to emerge as a well-known Acrylic Specialist.
Each painting depicts African ways of life, especially as lived out in the marketplace among African women. While there are other animal and symbolic pieces in this first gallery, the focus is on life and living in Ghana.
